Abstract

This research was conducted at the Barokah Village-Owned Enterprise, Sungai Tonang Village, North Kampar District. The purpose of this research is to determine the development strategy of Barokah BUMDes and to determine the inhibiting factors of the development strategy of Barokah BUMDes in Sungai Tonang Village. The research was conducted using a qualitative research method with informants from the Village Head, Director of Barokah Village-Owned Enterprise, and the Community in Sungai Tonang Village, North Kampar District. The results of the research indicate that the Development Strategy of Barokah Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes) in Sungai Tonang Village, North Kampar District has not been running optimally which can be seen from several indicators (1) Environmental Observation, (2) Strategy Formulation, (3) Implementation, (4) Evaluation. The inhibiting factors are (1) Lack of facilities and infrastructure that support BUMDes operations, (2) Minimal socialization and promotion which causes a lack of attention and support from the community, (3) Limited capital and facilities that limit business development, and (4) Lack of ability of BUMDes managers to run and develop businesses effectively.
