Scabies is a contagious skin disease caused by Sarcoptes scabiei infestation and commonly occurs in crowded environments such as Islamic boarding schools. Poor clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) and inappropriate indoor humidity are suspected risk factors. This study aimed to analyze the relationship between PHBS and room humidity with scabies incidence among students at Darul Al-Fatah Islamic Boarding School, North Kampar District, Kampar Regency in 2025. This study used an observational analytic design with a cross-sectional approach. The population consisted of students living in the boarding school dormitories, with 71 respondents selected using simple random sampling. PHBS data were collected using a structured questionnaire, while room humidity was measured using a hygrometer. Data analysis was performed using chi-square tests. The results showed a significant relationship between PHBS and scabies incidence (p = 0.003) and between room humidity and scabies incidence (p = 0.019). Poor PHBS and humidity levels outside health standards were associated with a higher incidence of scabies. Strengthening health education, improving personal hygiene practices, and controlling dormitory humidity are essential to reduce scabies transmission in boarding schools.
