Penguatan Pelatihan Pembuatan Produk Olahan Nanas dalam Rangka Pengembangan UMKM di Desa Pagaruyung Kecamatan Tapung

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) in Pagaruyung Village, Tapung District, Kampar Regency through MSME development education and training in pineapple product manufacturing. The main problem faced by the community is the suboptimal utilization of local pineapple potential due to limited knowledge of product processing, business management, and marketing. The activity method included lectures, hands-on pineapple processing practice, and discussions and a Q&A session. The activity results demonstrated an increase in participants' understanding and skills in processing pineapple into value-added products such as pineapple chips and candied pineapple, as well as increased awareness of the importance of product innovation and MSME marketing strategies. This activity contributes to encouraging community economic empowerment and strengthening MSMEs based on local village potential.
