The community service program of Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) Innovation Training on Household Scale organized by the UIN Suska Riau community service team has successfully empowered 223 PKK mothers in Tarai Bangun Village, Kampar Regency, through training in making organic fertilizer from kitchen waste. This activity was designed to address two main problems: community dependence on chemical fertilizers that damage the environment and the lack of utilization of household organic waste. With a participatory method that includes socialization of theory, direct practice of making POC using local materials (rice washing water, salt, and Ajinomoto), and application to plants, participants showed high enthusiasm and success in producing quality POC with the characteristics of a brownish color and the right fermentation aroma. The evaluation results revealed three significant achievements: increased knowledge and skills of participants, a paradigm shift towards sustainable agriculture, and strengthening the role of PKK mothers as agents of environmental change. The success of this workshop is not only seen from the POC products produced, but also from the commitment of participants to apply this knowledge independently. To ensure sustainability, this program needs to be supported by regular mentoring, the formation of POC business groups, and integration with village policies. This training activity is a concrete model of synergy between academics and the community in realizing sustainable development based on local empowerment.
